Queen City of the South. What interests me about this city was their rich cultural history and landmarks. The first time i got here i instantly fell in love with the city's wonderful places and history. The faith of cebuanos also amazed me.
We (with my trip buddy) planned our stay here for just a week. We had already booked our hotel, we have chosen cebuRhotel with its very cheap price, nice rooms and very courteous and accommodating staffs you will definitely have a good stay. Probably we will be staying again there soon.
We were so lucky to met a taxi driver named "manong jun" he has his own trip package at the lowest rate. We had our city tour for only 1,500 pesos for the whole day. If you are interested here is his contact number +639396454754 and you can arrange your own itinerary with him.
When you get to Sto. Niño, there are women who will offer prayers for health, love or anything you ask, for them to pray in exchange of the candle you bought from them.
This is inside the Sto. Niño church where you can also find the miraculous little Sto. Niño :)
The old Fort San Pedro was built in spanish colonial period
Used to be the military defense structure.
Shangri-la Hotel Mactan, Cebu
Bohol
Famous for chocolate hills and tarsiers. I am so excited to get here to see the beauty of chocolate hills. 3 days before we get here, we had our booking for our ticket at SuperCat. We took the Bohol Day Tour Package, payment was on the day of our departure at Customer
Care Counter located inside SuperCat Terminal.
Care Counter located inside SuperCat Terminal.
We arrived at SuperCat Terminal, Pier 4, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City at exactly 7am and looked for Customer Care Counter. There, we present our locator number, this number was sent via email after booking ticket online of the above site. The tour was good for 1 day and it costs us P2,850 this already includes round trip ticket from cebu-bohol vice versa, with tour guide, LOBOC river cruise w/ LUNCH, applicable entrance fees, Terminal Fees (Cebu & Bohol).

Going to Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary.
This is the preserved Tarsier's skeleton.
Camera shy tarsier..
Lunch time at Loboc River
Eat delicious foods all you can while cruising on the river.
The Songer hehe i really had fun during our lunch with his wonderful voice to entertain us all.
While cruising, we came by a floating hut with folks dancing and singing in their dialects. This is their way of welcoming, appreciating and thanking the visitors.
Welcome to Chocolate Hills.. during our visit it was rainy season so it doesn't look like a chocolate hill thus a green hill ^^, It is only during summer when you find it as chocolate because grasses were dead due to summer heat.
Blood Compact Monument- a historical site
At the end of the trip, we're so tired but it's really worth it! It's really amazing knowing your own culture. Before you appreciate others' richness, appreciate you own first. :)
