Bohol, Philippines

This place is one of my favorite. Bohol is one of the provinces in the Philippines located in Central Visayas. Coming here is very easy. You can reach the place by plane either from Cebu City or Manila going to Tagbilaran, Bohol.  You can also book your trip at SuperCat.com for a skip trip day tour. No problem if you haven't booked any trip upon arrival, there are lots of tours offered in the place.

It is very known to its famous chocolate hills. Thousands of hills were formed several years ago, it was learned that the hills were made up of seashells, that's why there are no trees growing atop. It is called chocolate hills because, during the dry season, grass died down turning into color brown. And during the wet season, the hills were covered with green grass. Philippines has only two seasons, wet(rainfall) and dry (summer).

Reaching Port of Tagbilaran by fast craft.

First stop, at Tarsier Sanctuary. Cameras with flash are not allowed while taking photos since these animals have big eyes, flashes could make them blind.

Butterfly garden in Bohol. Different species can be seen here.

Floating restaurant, a buffet-style restaurant during lunch time. It serves delicious Filipino foods.

Entertained by the locals while dining.
