I find it difficult to choose because both has outstanding colors. I know when we talk about DSLR cameras, regardless of its color, we always choose what has the best specs that suit to our needs in photography.
Although this red Nikon D3100 camera has the same characteristics with the original one, this is more trendy and stylish without alteration to the image quality. This looks like a small robot rolled into a DSLR, just saying.

Black Nikon d3100 camera looks very professional. For almost all of the professional photographers used a black DSLR.
Bottomline is, look to its specs. You can create a movie with this DSLR. The D3100 is the first Nikon DSLR to offer progressive scan 1,920 x 1,080 pixel recording, or what's commonly known as 1080p / "Full HD" video.
